Avatar DVD to be Released on Earth Day

Avatar DVD to be Released on Earth Day:James Cameroon’s ‘Avatar’ which created a new record of highest grossing film in the history of film Industry is all set to go further and the team is planning to re-release this big hit movie once again next month.

The date has been announced yesterday and plans are made to release them on April 22nd which is on Earth Day. However Avatar will be re-released in DVD and Blu-Ray on Earth day and they have also planed to make this re-release in a 2D format which had the 3 D format in its previous original release.

However more scenes have been appended in this movie which is not shown in the original release and producers think that it just makes sense to honor that day with the film’s debut to the small screen. The Director James Cameron and the producer 20th Fox Channel said that it will be a film and no much added features as like the original version and they want to have all of the digital and sound effects to be in the original version.

Could Avatar also break DVD records just like it did with in the big screen? The fastest selling DVD of all time, The Dark Knight, sold three million units on its first day in December 2008.
